Andy Edge
Andy Edge fell into horror at thirteen, the summer he spent reading Stephen King's IT cover to cover. He started the press to publish the kind of work that hooked him then: character-driven, slow-burning, and intimately unsettling. As a publisher, he's drawn to stories that close the distance between reader and victim, the kind of terror that makes you squirm and keep a light on at night. As an author he writes the same kind of fiction, where the monster is always human and the rot is usually close to home. He has a particular pull toward stories where hard people and grudges outlive their owners, often through a queer lens. Born and raised in Appalachian Ohio just across the river from West Virginia, he now lives in Arizona with his husband, his dogs, and an ever-growing stack of true crime documentaries.
Catherine Busby
Catherine 'Buzz' Busby has been writing fiction for over thirty years. And she is not done yet. She is as dedicated to the writers she edits as she is to her own work. Catherine loves the possibilities of language. She wants to be surprised, moved, and haunted by the way a writer uses words, to read a sentence twice and then wish she'd written it. As an editor, she reads with that same hunger, and pushes writers toward the sentences only they could write. She holds an MA in Creative Writing (Distinction) from Bath Spa University and chairs the board of Children's World, a charity supporting children of all abilities. She lives in Glastonbury, where she is happily outnumbered by her two children and five grandchildren.
